BAM Nuttall seleccionó la premiada solución de WorkMobile para ayudar en un nuevo proyecto en la Antártida.
EUTEX International, headquartered in Houston is a global specialist in hazardous-area electrical solutions. Since 1998, the company has supplied explosion-safe components, provided IECEx-certified inspection and maintenance, and delivered industry-leading training across IECEx, CompEx, ATEX, NEC, and hydrogen safety.
Alongside its U.S. base, the company operates offices and training centres in Australia, Canada, India, Myanmar, Scotland, Singapore, Thailand, and the UAE, reinforcing its worldwide reach and commitment to safety and compliance.
The Challenge
Hazardous-area inspections are mission-critical but traditionally difficult to manage:
-
Manual processes slowed down inspections and increased the chance of missed issues.
-
Safety risks for inspectors in dangerous or hard-to-reach environments.
-
Global compliance pressures, requiring accurate, consistent documentation across multiple sites.
-
High failure rates on new installations when small non-conformities slipped through.
Eutex sought a solution that would digitize workflows, increase inspection efficiency, and reduce risk exposure while maintaining compliance to IECEx and ATEX standards.

Solution
To solve these challenges, Eutex developed a full end-to-end digital inspection platform to comply with IECEx and ATEX safety standards built on WorkMobile technology. This included
-
Carrying out in inital inspection using the WorkMobile app. RFID tags were fitted to the asset and the scanned using the app and then using RFID tagging to uniquely identify the asset, along photographs.
-
Using the inpection records to build a complete, accurate and up-to-date electrical asset register.
-
Building a custom portal to which allowed:
-
Eutex's customer to login and see real-time progress of inspections broken down by individual rigs as well as identifying assets requiring attention.
-
Allowed Eutex to manage team progress and re-allocate re-inspections once repairs had been carried out.
-
Allocation of random annual asset inspection to mobile inspectors.
-
Using WorkMobile to develeop this solution not only optimized their service delivery but also strengthened their position as an innovator in hazardous-area inspection services.
In addition, due to WorkMobile, form building flexibility, Eutex are able to quickly tailor inspections to specific customers needs without costly and time-consuming software development.
